SIA (Sustainability Incentives Advisor) was born out of a need to demystify the world of renewable energy incentives.
SIA began with a vision to simplify renewable energy policy and incentives. SIA's creator has a background in renewable energy and product management, and he had a light-bulb style realization that pro-climate policy was key to widespread adoption of renewable energy and sustainability. So he built SIA to bridge the gap between complex, elusive pro-climate policy information and the everyday person.
Our vision. Homeowners made richer and more self-reliant by the roofs they already own.
Our mission. To make home solar one of the best paying and reliable investments for homeowners.
What is SIA?
SIA models your roof and tells you whether solar actually pays at your address, using the same Google Solar and PVWatts data installers use. It shows what each way of paying for it costs you over time, surfaces the incentive programs you may qualify for, and reads a quote you have already been given so you can check it against your own numbers.
Why SIA?
If you're shopping for solar, batteries, EVs, a new air conditioner, or even new windows, you should be speaking to SIA! There's a very high likelihood that you might find a program -or two, or three, or more- that can cut down your cost of purchase. Professionals tend to recommend the most obvious Federal program (sometimes they don't even do that). But there's programs at the State, local, and utility-level that could significantly cut down your costs.
Renewable energy should be accessible to all, but navigating the financial incentives shouldn’t require specialized knowledge. With SIA, sustainability becomes straightforward and actionable, enabling users to make informed, impactful choices without the usual confusion.
